The firm was awarded the National Special Mention Award in 2006 from the Society of Environmental Graphic Design for research and development of the first 28 symbols in the set of universal health care symbols. Funded by a grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Jamie was project manager and lead designer for a team of seven symbol designers and three foundation participants located across the country over the three year life of the project.
